My Story

Sahara desert challenge involves a team of 5 myself Mike, my 2 sons Josh & Tom and girlfriends Georgia & Amelia driving x2 vehicles, taking approximately 25 days & around 8500 miles from Carlisle Cumbria to Dakar Senegal & back. This challenge will undertake desert camping & desert driving.

We are supporting Team Evie because we want to make a difference to the lives of sick children and their families. The charity provides support for families from the time they first find out their child may be ill, often in pregnancy, through time in hospital, looking after their child at home, and with support for bereaved parents. 

There are so many ways that Team Evie help families, with Peer Support, portably libraries, parent bags, sensory equipment, medical machines, comfort items, physiotherapy kit, hampers at Christmas and Easter, staff training, Special Baby Groups, and more!
